Our story
You live in more than one world online. Your links should know that.
Most of us are several people on the internet now: an employee, a founder, a parent, a side-project tinkerer. Each identity has its own browser profile, its own logins, its own world. And every day, dozens of times, a link drops you into the wrong one.
You click a doc from a work Slack and it opens in your personal Google account. You open a calendar invite and it's the wrong identity. So you copy the URL, switch profiles, paste, wait. It's only a few seconds, but it's a few seconds of friction, a small tax on your attention, paid over and over.
The real cost isn't time. It's context-switching.
When we researched this, the pattern was clear: the people who feel it most aren't the ones losing the most minutes. They're the ones doing the most mental juggling. Keeping work and personal worlds straight is cognitive overhead. The pain is having to thinkabout which identity you're in, when you just wanted to open a link.
The tools that exist make you do the work.
There are apps that route links between browsers, but they all ask you to become a systems administrator for your own browsing: write rules, maintain patterns, fiddle with config. That's backwards. The whole point is to stop thinking about this, not to think about it more.
So we built Blinxter to just know.
Blinxter reads which account each of your browser profiles is signed into and learns from how you actually work. Click a link and it opens in the right profile, automatically. When it's genuinely unsure, it asks once, remembers, and gets quieter over time. The goal is a tool you forget is there.
And it does all of this on your device. No accounts, no servers, no telemetry. Your browsing never leaves your Mac. For something this close to your whole digital life, privacy isn't a feature; it's the foundation.
Switch off the wrong-profile problem.
As more of life moves online and our identities multiply, managing the boundaries between them should feel like quiet magic: effortless, invisible, and entirely yours. That's what we're building. Blinxter is the first step.
